Terms of Service
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where we operate, without giving effect to any conflict-of-law rules.
1. Areas of Service
We provide repairs and services to locations within a 50-mile radius of Enoree, South Carolina. Services requested beyond that area will incur additional charges. Visit our service map section to verify locations. Any questions regarding milage rates or additional fees
2. Service Scope & Availability
Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC delivers on-site repair, maintenance, and diagnostics for heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers. Services depend on technician availability and safe working conditions. We aim to arrive within the estimated timeframe, but delays can happen due to traffic, weather, or prior emergency assignments.
3. On-site evaluations and estimates
Every mobile repair starts with an on-site evaluation. The technician will determine final pricing, the scope of work, and the service timeline after inspecting your vehicle(s) on location.
Service Call Fee:
A non-refundable dispatch or “Service Fee” is charged for all service calls to cover travel and initial assessment.
Work Orders:
Before we start any major repairs, the technician will present a detailed work order and estimate for your approval. If we uncover additional issues during the repair, we will notify you and obtain required authorization before proceeding.
4. Pricing, Fees, and Payment
Rates: Labor is billed at the industry standard with a 2-HR minimum.
Parts: Parts supplied by Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC are priced at retail value and are subject to local sales tax.
Payment Terms: Payment (Cash, Check, or Credit Card) is due immediately upon completion of services, prior to the technician leaving the site. Fleet accounts may be invoiced on net terms if pre-approved.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a scheduled service call, you must notify us at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled arrival time. Cancellations made inside this window or after the technician has arrived on-site will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the standard service call fee
6. Customer Responsibilities & Site Safety
As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring a safe and accessible environment for the technician - that includes complying with all local safety or environmental regulations. Any dangerous conditions or hazardous material must be disclosed ahead of time. For roadside breakdowns, you must ensure the vehicle is safely positioned with hazard lights activated and arrange for any necessary traffic control. You are required to provide accurate information regarding any vehicle issues and you must have the authority to make approvals for repairs and/or services on the vehicle.
7. Warranty and Liability
Workmanship Warranty: We stand by our labor and offer a 90 day warranty.
Parts Warranty: All parts are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty. Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC assumes no liability for parts failure, but will assist the customer in processing warranty claims with the manufacturer.
Limitation of Liability: Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, undetected damage or damage resulting from misuse - accidental or neglect, vehicle downtime resulting from the mechanical failure, as well as alterations made after our repairs or services. We are not responsible for any towing charges, load damages, or delays in any service we offer that may occur during weather conditions or part(s) availability.
8. Consent to Communications
By engaging our services, you consent to receive service-related updates, estimates, and invoices via phone, email, and SMS text message. Standard message and data rates may apply.
9. Disputes and refusal:
Any disagreements related to these Terms or our Services will first be addressed through sincere, good-faith negotiations. If those negotiations do not resolve the matter, the dispute will be decided by binding arbitration conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC has the right to refuse service under applicable federal and state laws.
10. Changes and Acceptance of Terms
Meyer Mobile & Fleet Repair Services LLC can revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect once posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
